• Brown spots are made up of of iron oxide
• Named after its resemble to the coat of a Dalmatian dog
• Although it is called Dalmatian Jasper it's not really a Jasper, this stone is actually an igneous rock made up of a variety of feldspar called Albite with a small amount of Quartz and Arfvedsonite
