Candle Directions, Care, and Safety

READ ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE USING ANY CANDLE!

Failure to follow all instructions could result in hazard and or injury

No refunds will be made for failure to follow all instructions listed below:

--

1. ** Find a safe location to set up your candle on a non-flammable surface away from any flammable material or items, children, or pets.
NOT Edible
NEVER move candle while it is burning or the container is still hot
NEVER LEAVE BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED!
---
2. ** On 1st lighting allow candle to burn all the way to the edge of the container before extinguishing.
---
All of my candles are made from 100% soy wax and soy wax has "memory" which in short means that the candle will only burn out as far as you allowed it to during the initial burn. Failure to do this may cause tunneling and loss of ability to burn a significant portion of your candle wax.
---
---
3. Keep wicks trimmed to even 1/4in before re-lighting.
---
Poor wick maintenance can cause the candle to burn too quickly, higher temperatures, cause soot, uneven burning, and can decrease the life of your candle. Trimming below 1/4in can cause the wicks to be become 'clogged' or burred in wax.
---
4. Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time.
--
If you burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, carbon will collect on the wick, and your wick will begin to "mushroom." This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air and around your candle container
--
5. Discontinue use when 1/2in wax left in bottom of container
--
This is because at the end of it's life, a candle can get super hot- the container acts like an oven containing heat... and if that heat gets too close to the bottom of the container it can be dangerous
